Internet access

All college buildings including boarding houses have wifi internet access through the school network. We have an internet agreement that all students must adhere to, so boarders need to carefully read and then sign this document. Each boarder will then be given a username and password that will allow them to access the internet via their laptop and mobile device. We have in place all the necessary filters; our IT technicians monitor internet usage and are alerted to any attempts to access unsuitable websites. Students must never give out their username and password. Please note that the College wifi is turned off every night at midnight, though students over the age of 18 can request permission for extended wifi capabilities. We know that students are able to use 4G on their devices and parents have found it very helpful to limit or restrict the amount of mobile data available on their son’s or daughter’s phones.
