Study environment

Boarders should show consideration for others in their house. Any noise, as well as music played on phones, PCs, laptop or other device or through any speaker system should be kept to a minimum; listening to music through headphones is a good way to minimise any disturbance. We expect boarders to be respectful and considerate towards those they live with and all others. There is to be no loud music or excessive noise at any time. After curfew, no noise should be audible outside of a boarders room. We recommend that all boarders use headphones after 10pm at night. If, after being warned, a student continues to disturb others, the equipment will be confiscated. Televisions, games consoles and computer monitors are not permitted in the student accommodation; televisions and games consoles are provided in the common rooms.
