Most parents deposit pocket money in their child's bank account. If preferred, pocket money can be administered by the College, but we recommend no more than £20 per week is given to students. Boarders can request their pocket money from the finance office from Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm.

Boarders must not keep large amounts of cash in their rooms. Any cash brought in should be given to the Bursar in Star Hill for safe keeping. Small amounts of money should be kept in the locked box in each boarders room.

Students often need to open a bank account and we can issue a letter to be taken to the bank to confirm that they attend the College as a full-time boarding student.
