Maintenance & Housekeeping

Heating

All College buildings and student bedrooms are centrally heated. Electrical items such as heaters, electric blankets or fans are not permitted in rooms and, if found, will be removed. Extra quilts are always available; just ask a member of the boarding staff.

Maintenance issues

Maintenance issues, damage or potentially hazardous situations should always be reported as soon as possible to one of the boarding staff on duty or to the main Star Hill boarding office during the day. Repairs are undertaken as soon as we are aware of them.
