Cindy Campbell

Board of Trustees Chairperson

2020 - 2022

Kia Ora Rhode Street whānau

I am a Mum to an 8-year-old daughter and a ten-year-old son who both attend Rhode Street.

I spent my youth in the Waikato then moved to the Bay of Islands for a summer and stayed in the sun for 10 years.

I meet my amazing husband in Waitangi and he has put up with me for the last 22 years. Moving to Hamilton to be closer to my whanau in 2008.

My whānau and I love Rhode Street and call it our country school in the middle of town.

We appreciate our M.A.N.A values and knowing our Kura is leading the way with our eco warriors so that the things they learn today will impact us all tomorrow.

I’ve really enjoyed my time on the Board of Trustees and being part of the big picture. Helping make decisions for our tamariki which I know influences what’s happening in the classroom on the daily.

I've always felt supported by the other board members, our principle and the teacher rep. We all enjoy healthy debate and questioning the why. We are here to help support our tamariki so they can strive and achieve.

The Board are representatives of the parents of Rhode Street tamariki and if you need support with anything school related we are here to help.

So don’t be a stranger and if you would like to be part of a forward thinking and all round awesome Board please talk to Aunty Winnie in the office and find our more.
