It is a privilege to be the Associate Principal at Rhode Street School.

I have been at this kura for 14 years in a range of teaching and leadership roles.

Part of my mahi is supporting our aakonga to be resilient and proud of who they are and where they come from.

Our children need to be able to work together, collaborate and care for each other. They need to be team players and team leaders. They need the skills to cope with the challenges that life will throw at them and know they can find a solution.

Our students need to be creative and think out of the square and take pride in standing out from the crowd. This will enable our aakonga to be successful citizens of the future, ‘Nga Rangatira mo Apopo’ – Leaders of Tomorrow!

When I am not at school I have two boys who keep me busy.  We love all things rugby (Go the 'Canes) and MMA.

I look forward to working with you and your whaanau at our kura.
