Programs & Projects

The USS Dauntless has a number of ongoing projects, with a variety of goals and objectives, that have a special place within the crew's day-to-day operations.

Civilian Outreach Program

Undertaken by the Communications Department, the Civilian Outreach Program aims to bring the world of Star Trek fandom to members of the public who may be interested in it, but aren't engaged in active fandom themselves.

Challenges

Programs designed to allow the crew to challenge themselves and compete against each other in organised events that last longer than a single Mission. These are typically undertaken by individual members (as opposed to Away Teams or Departments). While winning is rewarded, participation is what's encouraged.

Dauntless Fitness Challenge

Undertaken by the Medical Department, the Fitness Challenge provides a friendly, competitive environment to help motivate crew-members to become physically active, and in doing so, improve their health.

Dauntless Linguistics Challenge

Undertaken by the Science Department, the Linguistics Challenge provides a friendly, competitive environment to help motivate crew-members to learn a new language.

Combat Training Program

Undertaken by the Security Department, the Combat Training Program provides a friendly, competitive environment to help motivate crew-members to engage in personal combat training.
