Hello CMS Band Students/Parents,

I encourage students to continue with their home practice schedule if possible.

The practice card schedule for the remainder of the school year is as follows:

Practice Card #5 - Due March 30

Practice Card #6 - Starts March 30 and due May 4

Practice Card #7 - Starts May 4 and is due June 8

Obviously I will not be collecting these, unless we get back to school, but I encourage students to continue a consistent home practice schedule. Students can still chart their weekly practice if they choose.

I am in the process of working together with Music Direct in Calgary to get some new music through PDF format. If this is successful, I can get students new music to work on. Music Direct has most of their band music in audio file on their website. If students would like to practice their current music with a recording, the link is http://www.musicdirect.ca

This week, students may contact me through email between 8:30-3:30 with any band related questions, or may just want to say hi. Moving forward from there I will have a more specific schedule for band students. For example, I will have a Gr.6 Woodwind time.
