Get a regular blank peice of paper.

Fold it in thirds and then fold two parts back so that the front of the paper is partially showing.

Draw a circle across the paper where the peices overlap.

With a pencil draw your favourite school appropriate Emoji.

Unfold your paper and look at what parts of the drawing is showing. Do not draw on the parts that are showing, only the areas that are covered up when the paper is folded.

Think about what you could turn your Emoji into and draw it in pencil.

Ink it with a pen or darken the lines you want to keep with your pencil.

Colour and shade your drawing.

When done you can fold it up to see your Emoji or unfold it to reveal your creation.
