A Coat of Arms traditionally represented a family and would be painted on a sheild for when the man of the family went to war. Later it was adopted by kingdoms and countries so soldiers could tell friend from foe. Now they are a decorative symbol used by many people around the world.

4. Add a streamer or flag with the words or family name.
