Make a horizon line. Do not put it right in the middle of the page.

Put a vanishing point somewhere along the horizon line.

All distance lines go towards this point.

All up and down lines go up and down even with the side of the page.

All side to side lines are even with the top and bottom of the page.

Objects get smaller as they get further away.
