Welcome to Madawaska Valley District School!

MVDS is situated near Algonquin Provincial Park on the western side of Renfrew County.  There are approximately 300 students who attend our school from a district - which is an area of about 180 square kilometres.  

Our school has pathways for success for every student.  Our innovative teamwork approach allows students to access all pathways, including college and university, as well as skilled trades and workplace opportunities.  We also have programs where students can focus on life skills and where they can make meaningful connections within our community.

Our mission is to nurture the culture, create the programs, and explore the practices that will allow all members of the MVDS community to experience ongoing opportunity, success, and growth.
