College & Career Technical Education (CTE)
Visual and Performing Arts Approved
Our Video Production program is an immersive, industry-aligned course that bridges the gap between creative storytelling and professional digital media. Students gain hands-on experience in every stage of the filmmaking process—from initial concept and scriptwriting to filming and advanced post-production. Beyond the classroom, our creators function as the school’s premier media hub, producing the weekly announcements, capturing the energy of pep rallies, and filming sporting events for the Video Yearbook.
By integrating Visual and Performing Arts standards with real-world CTE training, we prepare students for high-demand careers in the film, television, and digital media industries. Through specialized workshops with the Film Ed Academy and high-stakes challenges like 24/48-hour film festivals, students develop the technical mastery and rapid problem-solving skills necessary to thrive in a professional studio environment. Whether producing promotional content for campus clubs or crafting independent cinematic works, our students graduate with a professional portfolio and the technical expertise to lead in the digital age.
