This is a 4th year math class that will prepare you for your first math classes in college. Especially if math is a tough subject for you. Most students will take College Algebra or Introduction to Statistics, you will be ready for both!
UC and Cal State Math "C" 4th year elective approved!
College-level introductory high school course that teaches students how to collect, analyze, interpret, and draw conclusions from data
We learn statistics by analyzing real world situations
Use Social Media Reels, Articles, Commercials, etc to analyze bias and confounding variables
Analyze admissions data through graphing
Look at Hurricane Katrina Relief to learn Confidence Intervals
Can take AP Statistics concurrently with Precalculus or Calculus
Recommend to have an "A" in Algebra 2 or a "C+" or higher in Algebra 2 Honors
Review topics from Algebra 2 but at a deeper level
Trigonometry
Vectors, Matrices, Conic Sections, Sequences and Series
Start the Calculus book and prepare for Calculus BC
This is an advanced Precalculus class, recommended for those with an "A" or "B" in Honors Alg2/Trig or an "A" in Alg2/Trig
This is the equivalent to Calculus I at the college level.
Students receive 1 semester of college credit for passing the AP Exam.
It is recommended that students take Pre-Calculus or AP Precalculus before enrolling in this course.
This is the equivalent to Calculus I and Calculus II at the college level.
Students receive 2 semesters of college credit for passing the AP Exam.
