Updating or Reinstalling Zoom App
Manual Update Zoom App (Without Signing in to Client)
Windows Computers
Zoom regularly provides updates to the Zoom desktop client to release new features and fix bugs. We recommend keeping your client updated to experience the best performance when using Zoom meetings.
Click the Start Menu on the bottom left of your screen.
From this menu, scroll through until you see the Zoom folder.
Click on the Zoom folder and then Zoom to open.
The Zoom app will now open on your screen.
Once the Zoom app is opened, find the Zoom icon on the bottom right of your screen.
Note: You may have to click the up arrow to find all of the open app icons.
Right-click on the Zoom app icon and left-click Check for Updates.
If there are updates available:
A window will open with details of what's new. Allow the window to load.
Once the update has finished loading, a blue Install button will appear on the bottom right. Click this button to install the update.
When the update is complete, the Zoom app will restart. The home screen of the app will show the current version that was installed at the bottom of the window.
If there are no updates available:
A window will pop-up stating You are up to date. You may close this window and access Zoom as normal.

To expand the video size, click the full-screen option on the bottom right.

Mac Computers
Open the Zoom desktop application.
Select zoom.us at the top of your screen and select Check for Updates.
If there are updates available:

Automatic Updates
Open the Zoom Desktop Client.
If you are not currently logged in, log in to Zoom from the client.
Click on the Settings Gear on the top right of the client.
In the General section, locate the Zoom Updates option and ensure that the option to Automatically keep Zoom desktop client up to date is selected.
Uninstalling and Reinstalling Zoom
When a problem arises, uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom from your computer can be a simple way to resolve issues.
Windows
Click the Start Menu on the bottom left of your screen.
From this menu, scroll through until you see the Zoom folder.
Click on the Zoom folder and then Uninstall Zoom to uninstall.
Once completed, reinstall Zoom from their download center.
Mac
Open the Zoom desktop application.
Select zoom.us at the top of your screen and select Uninstall Zoom.
Select OK to confirm uninstalling the Zoom desktop application and all of its components.
Once completed, reinstall Zoom from their download center.
