Turnitin
Turnitin is a resource used at Purdue Global that scans student work for plagiarism. Students should always cite the sources used for their work. The Purdue Global Writing Center provides more information on how to avoid plagiarism.
Viewing the Similarity Report
To view your Similarity Report and/or instructor feedback in Feedback Studio, you must have submitted to the assignment folder in Brightspace.
From the navigation at the top of the course page, select Assignments.
Gaining access to the Similarity Report can be done in two ways:
From your list of assignments, select Feedback: Unread in the Evaluation Status column. If this option is unavailable, your report may not have generated yet.
Note: If you have already viewed feedback for an assignment, the Evaluation Status will state Feedback: Read.
Under the Completion Status column, click on the submission count for the applicable assignment.
Scroll down until you see the Turnitin Similarity score for the assignment.
Select the percentage from the Report column to open Turnitin Feedback Studio. If this is your first time accessing Turnitin, you will be guided through a brief tutorial.
