There is a known issue with some versions of Chrome and Kaltura. You may experience issues like the spinner hanging when trying to pull up a preview of the video. Clicking pause by the scrubber and then clicking play should unfreeze the process. You may also try using a different browser.

Captions can only be provided in the language used for the video. Source media language options are English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, and Portuguese.
When a Kaltura video that contains captioning is downloaded, the captions are not included with the download. However, you can download the captioning file separately by going to the edit page for the video.
