Google Calendar
Google Calendar is included with your Purdue Global email account. The calendar can be used to keep track of important meetings and events. Reminders can be set so that you don't miss any appointments.

Getting Started with Google Calendar
Access Calendar from the Web
Click the Google Apps icon on the top right of Gmail, to the right of the settings gear.
Locate and click the Calendar link.
Schedule a Meeting
To create a new event in Google Calendar, click on the calendar itself to choose a time. You can drag and drop using your cursor to change the event duration. When you release the mouse button, you will be prompted to name the event. Click Create event, or choose Edit event to add additional details, attendees, etc.
Set Notifications for Calendar Events
Don’t miss class! Follow the steps below to configure reminders for your calendar events:
Click on the Settings Gear.
Click Settings.
From the Calendar Settings menu, select Notifications.
Configure your notifications, then click Save.
View a Classmate’s Calendar
To add a classmate’s calendar, locate Other Calendars on the left-hand sidebar.
Click the +, and then Subscribe to Calendar.
Type in their Purdue Global email address and click on their address in the drop-down.
Note: Unless they have shared their calendar with you, you will only be able to see their calendar events as "busy." You can use still this to help with coordinating their availability for meetings.
