You will submit your benefit elections via Munis ESS as a New Hire. Human Resources will review your election, and we may ask for more information if necessary. Once your selections are approved, we will send them to the payroll, and our benefit providers will make your benefits active. This process can take up to a week or more, depending on how long you provide the requested information.
When processing is complete, you can log in to our various online benefits portals. Medical Cards will then be issued and sent to you, which may take up to two more weeks from the time you submit your elections in Munis ESS.
