Pitkin County offers three tax-advantaged Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options to help you save on eligible expenses: a Limited Purpose Health Care FSA, a Dependent Care FSA, and a Transportation FSA. These accounts allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for qualified expenses, effectively lowering your taxable income.

All FSAs are administered by Allegiance Benefit Plan Management. To manage your account, log in at www.askallegiance.com/pitkin, where you can view balances, calculate tax savings, check eligible expenses, access forms, review transaction history, and more.

You choose how much to contribute to each FSA annually, up to IRS limits. Your elected annual amount is divided evenly across 24 pay periods and deducted pre-tax from each paycheck throughout the year.

Debit Cards - Debit cards will be mailed to you. These cards will provide access to all of your reimbursement accounts—including both HSA and FSA—on a single, convenient card.
Claims - You can submit claims for expenses incurred during the plan year using any of the following methods:
