Your well-being is our priority!
During Open Enrollment, you can:
• Newly enroll in coverage
• Add/drop dependents
• Terminate coverage
If you do not need to make any changes to your benefits, you do not need to change your elections unless you are enrolling in the limited purpose health FSA or dependent care FSA.
All of your other current benefit elections will carry over for the 2024 plan year. If you are making changes for 2024, you MUST make them in Munis ESS by November 10, 2023.
What is New in 2024?
• Your medical, dental, and vision premiums are increasing.
• Medical deductible is increasing to $1,600 for individual and $3,200 for family (IRS-required change).
• Prescription Coverage is changing to CVS Caremark. Watch for important information regarding your prescription coverage over the next few weeks. A Caremark representative will hold an in-person information session on October 19.
• Because of the deductible and pharmacy changes, Allegiance will be issuing new ID cards near the end of December which includes the information for CVS Caremark. Please keep an eye out in your mailbox for these new cards. They will need to be presented at the pharmacy for any medication you need to pick up after January 1, 2024.
• Allegiance Limited Purpose Health Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) The IRS has not announced the 2024 annual maximum contribution increases yet, but we anticipate the Limited Purpose Health FSA to increase to $3,200 (rollover is projected to increase to $640). Transportation FSA is projected to increase to $315 per month.
• Pitkin is discontinuing the Alight health concierge service. See your 2024 Benefit Guide for more information on Benefit Advocacy support.

What do I need to think about and why would I need to enroll during Open Enrollment?
Do you want to change your elections? If you check YES to any of the below, you NEED to enroll during Open Enrollment via Munis ESS.
