A shotlist is extremely important for a media professional to have in their arsenal because it showcases forethought and planning to an extensive degree. As a media professional, having my shots planned out beforehand is always important to help cut down on errors and and slowing down the production time within a professional environment. Though a documentary, some shots can be planned out to a very rough degree and still is used to showcase the professionality and understanding of how the media world works.
