MIDDLE SCHOOL OVERVIEW
Middle School TechEd classes expose students to the different areas that are offered as high school classes.
Students will have 17 choices of classes available to them, in 6 major areas of study, throughout high school in the Technology Education Department. See the class offerings here: High School Classes
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
In TECHED 6, students get to work in a real woodworking shop where safety and teamwork are emphasized. They learn how to use hand tools and machines properly. Throughout the class, students create several woodworking projects they can be proud of. They also learn how to stain and finish their projects to make them durable and long-lasting. This course helps students develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well with others.
