Remove or Add Facing Pages: Go to File > Document Setup > Uncheck / Check the facing pages box
Resize Margins: Go to File > Document Setup > Resize the margins
Changing Units: Open InDesign. Do not have any files open. Use the hotkey Ctrl + K to open Preferences. Go to Increments and Units.
