Combination Circuit Breakdown

There are two types of combination circuits: a series-parallel circuit and a parallel-series circuit.

     Series-Parallel:  Series in the outermost circuit, parallel on the inner circuit

     Parallel-Series:  Parallel in the outermost circuit, series on the inner circuit

To solve for combination circuits, remember the rules for SERIES and PARALLEL circuits.
