INTRODUCTION TO GRAPHIC DESIGN
Course Description:
This course introduces students to fundamental image editing, printing layout design, and various printing techniques including screen-printing on textiles, sublimation, image contour cutting, and vinyl cutting. Graphic design is a rapidly expanding industry and ranks as the second largest today. Through this course, students will develop valuable skills and hands-on experience that prepare them for careers in graphic design. They will work with industry-standard software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and InDesign to produce professional-quality graphic projects.

Grades: 9-12
Class Note: Students will be required to supply their own t-shirts for this class. There may be an additional cost for materials, based on what students are interested in doing for their take-home project(s).
