Unit Presentations:
A series circuit: is a circuit that has only ONE path for electricity to flow.
Series Circuit Laws
Voltage = The voltage in a series is the sum of all voltage drops equal the total voltage
Et = E1 + E2 + E3 ... + En or Vt = V1 + V2 + V3 .... + Vn
Amperage = The amperage in a series is the same throughout the circuit
It = I1 = I2 = I3 ... = In or At = A1 = A2 = A3 ... = An
Resistance = The resistance in a series is the sum of all resistances, equals the total resistance
Rt = R1 + R2 + R3 ... + Rn or Ωt = Ω1 + Ω2 + Ω3 ... + Ωn
