MIDDLE SCHOOL OVERVIEW
Middle School TechEd classes expose students to the different areas that are offered as high school classes.
Students will have 17 choices of classes available to them, in 6 major areas of study, throughout high school in the Technology Education Department. See the class offerings here: High School Classes
Course Description:
In the 7th Grade Technology Education class, students will continue developing safe woodworking shop practices. They will review the use of various tools and machinery, along with different finishes to protect their projects over time. This course emphasizes building positive teamwork, refining woodworking skills, and introducing new equipment. Students can expect to create craft projects using scroll and coping saws, design images on computers for laser engraving, build desktop organizers from multiple materials, and construct CO2-powered dragsters.
