INTRODUCTION TO CIVIL ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURE
Course Description:
Students will learn about the fundamentals of civil engineering and architecture in this class. They will learn how to properly draft 2D and 3D objects by hand and by using 2D and 3D drafting software. Measurement, working with fractions and decimals, and learning about different forms of drafting geometry are major points in this class. Students will learn about the basics in house / building design, mapping using GIS (Global Information Systems) Software, and about key terminology used in the civil engineering field.
