GROUP ARTIST STATEMENT - Our work raises questions about how art can make science more understandable and emotionally meaningful. As a group, we discussed how birds are often overlooked in conversations about biology, wildlife, and favorite animals, despite being essential to ecosystems and everyday life. Through art, we hoped to make these ideas more approachable for people of all ages. By combining scientific inspiration with creative expression, we believe art can encourage curiosity in ways that facts and data alone sometimes cannot.
