"My name is Pankti Bhatt and I'm one of your very proud Turner Fenton HOSA presidents. I am so honoured to work alongside the amazing executives and make this year one to remember.
When I applied to Turner Fenton HOSA as a lost grade 9 student, I did not know what might happen. To my surprise, HOSA has become a central focus in my high school life. For me HOSA is not only a place where learn concepts beyond the school curriculum, but also grow as an individual, gain skills and connections, and enjoy each step of the journey.
Every year I faced a different challenge but I was fortunate enough to gain invaluable skills and experiences along the way which have allowed me to grow as a person. As a chapter member. I was able to envelope myself in complex areas of science that prepared me for my HL Biology and SL Chemistry courses. As a Training Coordinator last year I figured out what it means to be a teacher - how to make complex ideas easy to understand. As an executive I worked with so many amazing people who have now gone on to do some amazing things. This year as President, I hope to provide the HOSA chapter with my utmost time and effort. I want to help the members gain a memorable in-person experience and opportunities that will allow them to flourish.
HOSA has been my passion for the past 3 years and I can't wait to see this years chapter succeed. "
My name is Nidhi Sanjeev and I am honoured to be taking on the role of president this year as part of the 2022-2023 HOSA chapter! HOSA has been my go-to extracurricular since grade 9, and has allowed me to grow in such admirable ways. I’ve made so many incredible memories and new friends in this club over the years, in addition to reaching personal goals. My favourite thing about HOSA is the personal development it allows you to achieve, while also having fun! I truly believe that there is a competitive event for everyone and I highly encourage all students to get involved with the club. I’m so grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given and the journey I’ve had with HOSA at Turner Fenton so far. As I always say, wingardium levi-HOSA (even though I’ve never read a single Harry Potter book and don’t plan on ever doing so either)! :))))
