Public Health is an event in which participants in groups of 2-6, to create an effective, dynamic and creative presentation regarding a public health issue. The differences of health in different Socioeconomic communities
The relationship between poverty/wealth and health
The relationship between education and health
How Racism and Discrimination affect healthcare
How unstable Housing can affect healthcare
In order to qualify as a 2021-2022 HOSA Chapter member for Public Health, your group of 2-6 individuals must come up with a creative, dynamic and effective presentation regarding the topic above.
You will be given four minutes to present.
The presentations will be conducted virtually, and applicants will be permitted to use any online components within their presentation. Typical presentation materials are not recommended (ex. powerpoints), unless they serve a creative purpose as this is a creative event. The presentations will be through Microsoft Teams, and information regarding timings will be sent out at a later date.
You will be judged as a group as well as individually based on how well you are able to organize and present your information, the quality of your information as well as the way you present.
