Community Awareness is a service project designed to raise awareness of a health and/or safety issue that is prominent in our society. The topic is free of choice, but should be one that addresses an issue that a worthwhile contribution can be made towards. Applicants will work with their groups in a two stage process, where they will be required to write a report regarding their issue, and a 5 minute presentation regarding their topic. This allows judges the opportunity to see how much you care about the topic and how much making a difference means to you and your team.
Round 1:
1 page report highlighting all of the important details regarding your health and/or safety issue for judges to read and assess.
Round 2:
Groups will be given five minutes to present their plan and the content of their report to the judges. They will be critiqued based on their ability to present the information effectively. This presentation will be conducted on via Microsoft teams. Details regarding timings will be emailed to applicants on a later date.
