CS - CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

The entrance exam will have two parts. Unlike the other group events, the creative solving event entrance exam will consist of a quiz as well as an entrance interview

Day 1 - Entrance Quiz

This will consist of a 25 question multiple choice quiz. This quiz will take place on Friday, October 22 from 4:30-5:00pm.

Day 2 - Entrance Interview

As a mock of what will occur in Round 2 of the competition, students will solve a mystery problem that will be provided on the day of the exam. After receiving their secret question, they will have ten minutes to prepare, after which they will explain how they used Creative Problem Solving skills to solve their given problem. They will have a maximum of four minutes for their presentation, and they will be allowed to use only paper and a writing utensil. The presentation will be on Monday, October 26 via Microsoft Teams. The timings regarding the presentations will be emailed to applicants at a later date.
