Do you want to become a healthcare professional in the field of neuroscience and behaviours? Or, do you want to explore your options in the science field? Regardless, TFSS HOSA’s Behavioural Health event will greatly interest you. By participating in this event, you will develop lots of knowledge in the behaviours of humans and the entire neurological/nervous system. It will help increase your personal knowledge and educational knowledge on the subject that will greatly benefit you later in your life.
Behavioural health is a knowledge based event surrounding psychology, the mind, mental health and substance use disorders. This competitive event consists of a written test with a tie-breaker essay question. This event aims to inspire members to learn about and promote mental health resilience as well as learn how to support those in recovery, their families and the health community. The written test will consist of 100 multiple choice items in a maximum of 90 minutes and one essay question will be administered with the original test. In case of a tie, the essay question will be judged and used to break the tie. The overall purpose of this event is to test the competitors comprehension skills and the ability to recall information learned.
