The objective of this presentation was to explain the importance of serial dilutions and their practical applications in science labs. This included demonstrating how to calculate dilutions step-by-step, show examples of calculating final concentrations using provided sample values, and summarize key points and explain why accurate calculations are important in biomedical science using visual aids like diagrams to mae it easier to understand. This is a glow because me and my peers were on point when it came to following the rubric and being specific on what we had to do. We made sure that we knew the material on what was being asked of us just incase anyone had questions.
The objective of the presentation was to write a final report that summarizes th entire case on Sue Smith's diagnosis and and all of the things that helped us come to that conclusion with the illness of each patient. We made sure to reference symptoms, molecular data, and laboratory tests. Our report should clearly and succinctly explain how all of the available data led to solving the case at the college and should include a summary of how this outbreak should be handled on campus. This is a glow for me becuase I feel like we could've done way more when it came to presenting. Like for example explaining the map of all of the infected, the prognosis, and etc.
The objective of this assignment was to complete a practice panel assigmnet to prepare us for the actual panel we would have to discuss infront of the board. This panel had everything to do with bacteria, dna sequencing, antbiotics, zone of inhibition, and bacterial resistence. This is a glow for me becuase since I started to understand the importance of bateria, the material began to be more easier to understand when it comes to bacteria interacting with certain antibiotics, and why those bacteria may act the way that it does.
The objective of this poster was to view different audiograms from different patients, and match which audiogram belongs to that patient. Me and and my partner decided to do patient 4 and went over all of the charts to see which one suited that patient the most. This is a grow for me becuase I feel like we could've talked more about the chart and give a deeper analysis.
