The task of this asignment was to make a christmas gift box. We were able to choose a scarf, jewlery, bottle of wine, or a snow globe to choose from as a gift. Me and my partner had to make sure that we met the criteria and contraints provided with the gift that we chose, and complete it by how our "clients" wanted their gift box to look like. The most challenging thing about this project was measuring the box accuratly as possible, since we decided to do a jewlery gift box.
The objective of this assignment was to organize our information on the criteria and contraints, deliverables, and what I have to do to make my client Natalie satisfied with her new luggage charm. I liked doing this project because it allowed me and my fellow classmates to be more creative with our charms, when it came to shapes, colors, and design. The most challenging thing about this project was actually 3D designing it, since I kind of had trouble with the design part, but I managed through. Overall, this project was really fun.
The presentation was for Women's History Month. The task of this was to pick a woman who contributed the engineering field. This was a fun project to do because I was able to learn about how a lot of women took major influence in engineering especially in NASA, and how they led the first man into space. I decided to choose Mae Jemison because not only was she one of the many women launched into space, but she the first black woman ever to be launched.
The objective of this project was to list all 7 types of plastics, and how each of them affect the enviroment, what each plastic is used for. What I learned from this project was that there a re many many more kinds of plastics in the world, and they affect the world differently.Â
The task of this assignment help us learn how to get the diameter and depth of countersink, and counterbore holes. This challenged me at first because I didn't really get the equation on how to get the solution, but later on I did just fine on it, and got the hang of it.
