For this weeks' homework, I was inspired by two things:
The moment in Sandra podcast where, in episode 2, the protagonist Helen ends up overstepping her role as Sandra by dispensing unsolicited relationship advice to a couple that initially sought advice on caring for an injured bird.
The magic mirror in Shrek that serves as game show host to a dating show for Lord Farquaad.
Thus, Cupid is a tinder-like experience where the user answers a series of questions, and afterwards, receives a match. For the questions, I wanted to play on the "ice breaker questions" that are used on Hinge and other roommate/friend-people matching apps. Maybe in a future iteration I can actually use results from an API, but for this prototype, I just created a system that determined a match. Some vectors of analysis were using sentiment or using length of speech input, but most were just random matching.
