I didn't realize how picky I was about my ideal home screen until this assignment. I realize that I like don't like how my apps are very cluttered, but I also dislike the current folder structure that the iPhone has. I realize that a good number of apps I have download, I rarely use and delude myself into thinking I really need it taking up storage. For those apps, I would like them to not be visible on the home screen, but also still be accessible by searching (ideally by category as well as by name) and via an "all apps" screen (I think Android has that).
For my home screen, I tried to really filter out those noisy apps and organize the ones I use most frequently, group them together in a recognizable way via an icon-folder system. Furthermore, I wanted a bit more breathing space so that my home screen was slightly less obnoxiously crowding.
