DIVERSITY: Ensure our school community remains reflective of the Downtown Henderson City community. Ensure we are culturally competent and our school environment models empathy, respect, and a collaborative environment.
INNOVATIVE CURRICULUM AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Ensure our theme-based instruction incorporates effective teaching strategies, and alignment to best practices, and is implemented inclusively school-wide. The curriculum is based on rigorous standards and innovative 21st-century learning.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE: Ensure students/staff utilize multiple assessment strategies to set goals and monitor student learning, progress, and success. High expectations are clearly articulated and individual learning goals are embedded to ensure students are motivated through interests and real-world applications.
HIGH-QUALITY INSTRUCTIONAL SYSTEMS: Ensure the outgoing communication to the community comprised of teachers, staff members, and community partnerships remains student-centered, collaborative, and innovative to motivate and prepare learners to be world-ready, workforce-ready, and higher education-ready.
FAMILY AND COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS: Ensure our school continues to build partnerships with parents and community partners to support the education of all students through site-based labs, innovative learning, STEAM curriculum, and outreach opportunities.
