U10-12 Learn to Train

Learn to Train is the 3rd stage of Long Term Play Development!

NorWest Soccer's Recreational program is an IN-HOUSE LEAGUE. We offer local community soccer to North London and the surrounding area. Our recreational players do not travel to play other clubs. All fields are located between Hyde Park & Highbury Rd (as West & East boundaries) and Fanshawe Park Rd. & Oxford St. (as our North & South boundaries).

This age group will play twice a week - one practice and one game. For the first time in the player's experience, matches are officiated by Ontario Soccer match officials, and games follow Ontario Soccer's small-sided game rules. Games will be played as 7v7 for U10/11 and 9v9 for U12/13.

Teams practice in our group practice PTM sessions and need at least one volunteer coach. Fully Qualified coaches who want to run independent practices should contact us.

Practices and Games will be held from mid-May through mid-Aug.

As a cooperatively run not-for-profit community club, all our teams require volunteers.
Contact us if you are interested in co-coaching your player's team at icoach@norwestsoccer.com

per Ontario Soccer standards

At this age, practices focus on developing four core competencies for LTPD with a focus on gameplay, as outlined by Ontario Soccer.

We aim to publish full schedules the week of May 1st annually in your PowerUp Member Zone Calendar.
