Mr. Rogers welcomes the questions that students send whenever they wish to send them. Even if it is late at night or during a weekend, students should go ahead and send their questions--especially if a test is coming soon. It is far better for students to request help when it is needed instead of risking a poor test performance.
Students SHOULD NOT SEND GENERAL STATEMENTS like, "I don't know how to use the quadratic formula." If you have a general question, please use this site to watch the video of the lesson that corresponds to the topic of interest. Students SHOULD SEND SPECIFIC QUESTIONS. When students need help with a specific problem, they should INCLUDE A PICTURE OF THE ORIGINAL QUESTION AND A PICTURE OF THE ATTEMPT THEY HAVE MADE. This makes it much easier to identify misconceptions, find mistakes, and respond appropriately.
If a student would prefer one-on-one assistance, private tutors may be available. Contact Mr. Rogers or the guidance office in order to discuss tutoring possibilities.
