Extra Help

 (Outside of School)

Extra help is available by request via email.

Mr. Rogers welcomes the questions that students send whenever they wish to send them.  Even if it is late at night or during a weekend, students should go ahead and send their questions--especially if a test is coming soon.  It is much better for students to request help when it is needed rather than risk a poor test performance and request a make-up test at a later time when attention should be focused on the next topic instead.

What types of question should be sent via email?

Students SHOULD NOT SEND GENERAL STATEMENTS like, "I don't know how to use the quadratic formula."  If a student were to do that, Mr. Rogers would simply reply by telling the student to refer to the Tentative Daily Schedule and/or the schedule posted on Google Classroom to see when that lesson was taught, and then visit that date on our class site and watch the appropriate part(s) of that lesson’s video.

Students SHOULD SEND SPECIFIC QUESTIONS.  And when asking about a particular problem, students should INCLUDE A PICTURE OF THE ORIGINAL QUESTION AND A PICTURE OF THEIR ATTEMPT so Mr. Rogers can see the question, identify mistakes, and respond appropriately.

Private tutoring may be available.

If a student would prefer one-on-one assistance, private tutors may be available. Contact Mr. Rogers or the guidance office in order to discuss tutoring possibilities.
