In the videos for lessons in this unit, you will see that I teach the class how to calculate standard deviation using a TI-83 or TI-84 calculator. These values can be calculated using the Desmos Scientific calculator as well. To see how, please visit the "Graphing/Scientific Calculator Alternatives" section of this class site (see link below) and read about calculating standard deviation in the document entitled "The Desmos Scientific Calculator". (Specifically, see Screenshot #3 in that document.)
If you prefer the Desmos Graphing calculator, you may use that option instead. (Specifically, see Screenshot #9 in the document for that calculator.)
