QUARTER 4 ASSESSMENTS (4/21/20 - 6/26/20)

  1. "Signs of Trig Functions - Part 2" (Date Is To Be Announced) -- Students must be able to determine if a trigonometric function yields a positive or negative value when operating on given angle measures. Students must be able to apply knowledge of reference angles to the same task. (Test Return Date: XX/XX/XX)
  2. "Signs of Trig Functions - Part 1 (Graphing)" (Date Is To Be Announced) -- Students must be able to graph the basic sine and cosine curves. (Test Return Date: XX/XX/XX)
  3. "Sine & Cosine Curves" (Date Is To Be Announced) -- Students must be able to sketch a sine/cosine curve when given an equation. Students must be able to write an equation of a sine/cosine curve when given a graph. Students must also determine the curve's amplitude, frequency, and period. (Test Return Date: XX/XX/XX)
  4. "Area & the Law of Sines" (Date Is To Be Announced) -- Students must be able to determine the area of a triangle/parallelogram using the triangle area formula. Students must be able to use the Law of Sines to determine the measures of sides/angles in triangles. (Test Return Date: XX/XX/XX)
  5. "Classwork Completion" (4/21/20 - 5/1/20) -- Consider this grade to be a measure of a student's level of effort. This grade is a two-week accumulation of points that I awarded based on several days of monitoring completion of class notes, classwork completion, class preparation, cooperative participation, and attentiveness. Any grade lower than a perfect grade is an indication that a student did not follow through with some of his/her in-class responsibilities.
  6. "HW Completion" (4/21/20 - 5/1/20) -- This grade is a two-week accumulation of points that I awarded based on checks of homework completion. In order to earn full credit, homework assignments must be presented on time and must be completed in their entirety with all work shown. Full credit will be awarded only if a valid attempt has been presented on paper for all assigned questions (even if questions have been answered incorrectly).
  7. "The Law of Cosines, Forces" (Date Is To Be Announced) -- Students must be able to use the Law of Cosines to determine the measures of sides/angles in triangles. Students must be able to apply properties of parallelograms and triangles to solve problems involving forces. (Test Return Date: XX/XX/XX)
  8. "Classwork Completion" (5/4/20 - 5/15/20) -- See previous description.
  9. "HW Completion" (5/4/20 - 5/15/20) -- See previous description.
  10. "Classwork Completion" (5/18/20 - 5/29/20) -- See previous description.
  11. "HW Completion" (5/18/20 - 5/29/20) -- See previous description.
  12. "Classwork Completion" (6/1/20 - 6/17/20) -- See previous description.
  13. "HW Completion" (6/1/20 - 6/17/20) -- See previous description.
  14. "Final Exam - Part 1" (Date Is To Be Announced) -- This part of the exam consists of 28 multiple choice questions based on various topics covered during the course.
  15. "Final Exam - Part 2" (Date Is To Be Announced) -- This part of the exam consists of 28 multiple choice questions based on various topics covered during the course.
