OUR LEARNING
Language Arts - Our class is following the Scope & Sequence of the UFLI program. Students learn/review two letter sounds a week and sight words. We are going to be started guided reading groups in class as well as weekly spelling tests & a home reading program.
Math - Our focus has been on addition and subtraction strategies. Each week we do 1 mad minute.
Science - Scientific Methods
Social Studies - Time & Place - Learning what culture is and examples of cultural expression (ie. food, music. clothing, etc).
