Law & Order Special Victims Unit is a show filmed in New York City where detectives know as “SVU” investigate and try to get to the bottom of various crimes such as rape, pedophilia, and domestic violence. It might take them days to get to the bottom of the case, but they will do whatever it takes to solve it. This show was created by Dick Wolf and it airs on NBC. Other well known shows created by Dick Wolf are Chicago P.D, Chicago Med, and Chicago Fire. I personally haven't watched any of them, but I have heard that they are just as good as Law & Order.

The SVU squad consists of Olivia Benson (Benson), Amanda Rollins (Rollins), Dominick Carisi Jr (Carisi), Joe Velasco (Velasco), and Odafin Tutuola (Fin). Olivia Benson, the captain, leads SVU. She is a very strong, inspiring, and beautiful woman inside and out. I think she is the perfect woman to look up to. She is my favorite character. She cares about the victims and never turns her back on them. Rollins and Velasco are my favorite duo. They work so well together and have a special connection.

I think the director wants to get the message across that every person who is a victim deserves justice. I think Wolf wants viewers to see that you are never alone. You should never blame yourself for something else someone did to you. This television program shows you that there are many people out there who may have gone through something you have gone through. The style of this series is crime, mystery, and legal drama. This show is rated 7.8/10 on Google, and 86% of people liked this show. Many people have stated in their reviews that this show is also their favorite.

I’m still watching this show but so far it has been outstanding, the best show I have ever watched. It is very addicting. Once you watch one episode you will want to keep watching the rest. There are a lot of interesting cases that will get you thinking. I’m not a fan of watching tv shows because I lose interest fast but this show keeps me interested. Every episode you don’t know what to expect. No episode is ever the same, there are always different cases and victims.

This show is a 10/10. It shows us real world problems today and might give someone courage to speak out if something has happened to them. It shows us that it’s okay to talk to people instead of keeping it to yourself. I think it’s a very inspiring show, and that you should definitely watch it!
