Lead, Lift, Inspire: The NC DKG Sisterhood Podcast

Tracie Metz had an idea and submitted a grant proposal to DKGIEF. The grant was funded! This new podcast is designed to foster collaboration and share insights among educators and educational stakeholders across North Carolina. Each episode will bring together voices from PreK through higher education to discuss best practices, ongoing challenges, and strategies to strengthen the educational landscape for both students and educators. The series will also promote intercultural understanding and excellence in education, emphasizing DKGIEF’s commitment to supporting professional growth across our state.

Podcast Format

• Episode Length: 20–40 minutes

• Frequency: Bi-weekly or monthly

• Episodes will feature:

  • Interviews with Experts: Educators, administrators, policymakers, and thought leaders from K–12 and higher education.

  • Roundtable Discussions: Conversations centered on key educational issues, best practices, policy changes, and emerging challenges.

  • Listener Interaction: Opportunities for members to submit questions or suggest topics.

  • Resource Sharing: Actionable takeaways and resources for educators, schools, and community partners.
