Atmospheric Measurement and Observation Facility (AMOF)

The Atmospheric Measurement and Observation Facility (AMOF) is part of the NERC portfolio of services and facilities. Delivered to the national and international community by NCAS it is the result of the merger, on the 1st April 2020, of AMF (Atmospheric Measurement Facility) and NFARR (NERC Facility for Atmospheric Radar Research) but what does it do for NCAS and what can it do for you?
The AMOF strategic goal is:
To be the provider of choice of atmospheric measurement data and measurement services.
To lead nationally and internationally in the development of measurement best practice.
To provide the atmospheric science community with the facilities they need delivered in the manner they want it.
From instrument to archive AMOF is here to support the needs observational community be that going out and making measurements or accessing and developing data products.
This seminar will introduce you to the new facility: what we do, what we offer, what we can do for you, and how you can get involved.
