Cyber Patriot Team Commander

Hello all,

I am Cadet Seaman Faith Alley. This is my second and final year with the company. This is my first year on Cyber Patriot, and my second year on the Academic team.

The Cougar Company has helped me tremendously with what I have accomplished within the last two years. I would not have believed being told that I would be leading a team or be a platoon guide, nor that I would have a group of first year cadets look up to me and seek guidance. 

I have changed and grown as an individual so much because of the company and the people in it.

Being given the opportunity to be the team commander for Cyber Patriot has significantly helped me with my leadership skills and has helped me enter a whole new world that I didn’t think I would be able to see.

I could not be anymore proud of my team. They are constantly surprising me with just how much they have learned and grown. This team is made up of three, not including myself, wonderful people who I am so grateful to lead and get to know over this season. 

This program, I highly recommend to everyone. It will definitely get you out of your comfort zone, help you understand who you are as a person, and give you the opportunity to meet some wonderful people, and go places you could only dream of. 

I do more than just events, company events, and team meetings. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, hanging out with friends, arts and crafts, writing and reading books. When I’m not doing any of that, I’m spending time with my family. Being the eldest of six, means I get to share my life knowledge with my siblings, which I love doing. 

I will forever be grateful for this Company and opportunities I have,
