Horatio Alger Scholarship (for families with $55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income)

Civilian Marksmanship Program Scholarship deadline is 20 March

National Merit Scholarship (take PSAT October Junior Year)

VFW Scholarships (you don't have to be from a vet family) deadlines are 31 October

Military Scholarships lead to a commission by the President (being an Officer).

• The Naval Academy Opens 1 April , application deadline is 1 December.

• The Military Academy (West Point) Opens 1 April, application deadline is 31 January.

• The Air Force Academy Opens 1 April, application deadline is 31 January. 

• The Air Force ROTC.  Opens 1 April, application deadline is 

• The Merchant Marine Academy Opens 1 May, application deadline is 1 February.

• The Coast Guard Academy Opens 15 July, application deadline is 15 January.

• Monthly stipend ($1000+) which covers the cost of laundry, barber, cobbler, activity fees, yearbook, and other services.
• $100 in cash per month.  This increases each year attending.
• A guaranteed job upon graduation.

The Navy Reserve Officers Training Corps Scholarship opens 1 April and the deadline is 31 December with the following options:

• • • The Navy ROTC Preparatory Scholarship, deadline varies based on the college.  HUGE OPPORTUNITY!!!   (5-year program in STEM fields). (NJROTC Experience required)

    • The Navy Prepatory Scholarship Reserve (no NJROTC experience required)  

    • The Marine Corps option of the NROTC Scholarship 

    • The Nursing Navy Reserve Officers Training Corps Scholarship
